I recently installed debian sarge on a couple of machines. In total it worked great, just a minor couple of glitches

* on Dell Inspiron 8100, i had to set the "no pcmcia" option or it hang

* on earlier testing-candidate 1, SoftwareRaid-Installation was broken. Now i can install onto software raid, but it only mounted my first partition after boot. I tired around with mdadm; but i don't know if i fixed it by rewriting my volume headers with mdadm or by using a new kernel with raid1 built-in.

* debian-installer needs support for installation over Cisco xauth. Because that is the easiest internet connection i can get at the university. It would be damn cool to have "[http://packages.debian.org/vpnc vpnc]" support in d-i. Of course it would be very important for consumers to have centrino support... :-(

I used to use most. Actually when i need a pager i still most often type "most". But most had a couple of issues that made me switch away from it. Actually my preferred pager now is "vim -R -" ;-) It has syntax highlighting for just about any language. ;-)
