Dell is collecting customer wishes. It's interesting to see that all the top wishes are software related: starting with Linux preinstalled, OpenOffice, no AOL software preinstalled but a plain Vista only, Firefox as default browser or no software installed at all.

I'd strongly suggest Dell to consider bundling at least OpenOffice, Firefox, Inkscape, Gaim, Thunderbird, Gimp and some more of the great Opensource software available for Windows (remember: they're free - no extra cost, but some customers will be happy for having a good vector graphics program, or a free office suite...)

And I'd definitely like to see Dell offering a "no windows" option; I don't want to pay the Microsoft tax. An OS-less PC is fine for me, but it should be really cheap for Dell to get e.g. Ubuntu preinstalled.
